Ph.D. (Candidate of Sci.) in Mechanics of Deformable Bodies, Razmadze Institute of Mathematics of Georgian Academy of Sciences, 1974. Thesis: "Some Problems for Prismatic Shells with Cusped Edge" (Advisor: Academician, Professor Ilya Vekua).

Dr. Hab. (Doctor of Sci.) in Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics, Razmadze Institute of Mathematics of Georgian Academy of Sciences, 1986.
